Amer Rugs Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy governs the shipment of products purchased through Amer rugs. By placing an order, customers have agreed to the terms outlined below.
1. Shipping Eligibility
- Amer Rugs ships exclusively within the United States.
- All shipments are available only to approved consumers.
2. Order Processing
- Orders are processed after payment confirmation and order approval.
- Processing times may vary based on product availability, order size, and logistics requirements.
- Estimated shipping timelines are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.

3. Shipping Methods
- Items ship FOB Norcross, GA.
- Amer Rug uses UPS and common carriers to fulfill orders.
- Our preferred carriers are Southeastern Freight, Roadrunner, and YRC.
- Amer also accommodates other carriers and 3rd party billing.
- Please specify at time of order whether the delivery address is business or residential.
- Due to size limitations, Amer Rugs cannot ship any package via UPS that is over 96" in length or over 130" total girth (length and width combined,) or over 150 pounds.
4. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout or confirmed separately for large or freight orders.
- All shipping fees are non-refundable, including for refused or cancelled shipments after dispatch.
5. Backorders
- Once your item is processed, the order confirmation will indicate that it is backordered.
- The confirmation will include an estimated time of arrival (ETA).
- The ETA is an estimate only and not a guaranteed shipping date.
- Backordered items will be shipped automatically once they arrive, without further notice.
- To cancel a backorder, you must contact Amer Rugs in writing before the item arrives.
6. Custom Order
- For custom rug orders, customers are required to pay 50% advance payment at the time of placing the order.
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid before dispatching the order.
7. Delivery & Inspection
- Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.
- Any visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
- Claims for shipping damage or missing items must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
8. Freight and Large Orders
- Freight shipments may require a commercial delivery address with loading dock access or forklift availability.
- Additional charges may apply for residential delivery, liftgate service, re-delivery, or storage fees.
9. Failed or Refused Deliveries
- Customers are responsible for all costs associated with failed, refused, or delayed deliveries due to incorrect information or unavailability at delivery location.
- Such shipments may be treated as returns and subject to 20% restocking and return fees.
10. Shipping Delays
- Amer Rugs is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, labor disputes, or events beyond our reasonable control.
11. Policy Updates
- Amer Rugs reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.
- Updates are effective immediately upon posting.
